Water resource potency for mini/microhydro power is relatively big in Indonesia. Development of
this potency is inline with government development program such as: increasing electrification ratio
and utilizing renewable energy. Beside the program, water resource potency commonly is available
in rural remote area. Development of mini/microhydro power should be parallel to the integrated
water resorce management. The integrated resource management will be impowering community in
the rural area in term of economy and society and finally emerge society awareness to the water
resource conservation.
